Many activation issues are caused by incorrectly or incompletely uploaded documents. Please read this guide carefully before submitting your documents.

Create your Uber Eats Driver Account

Before you can start working with us, you must create your own Uber Eats Driver account.

How it works:

  1. Open the following link: https://www.uber.com/de/de/deliver/

  1. Create your Uber Eats driver account.

  2. Once your account has been created, submit your Uber Eats account to us as an onboarding task in Personio.
→ You should have already received a task for this.

  3. We will then add you to our Uber fleet.

⚠️ Important: Without a correctly created account, we cannot add you to the fleet.

Upload your documents

You can only start delivering once all documents required by Uber have been uploaded, reviewed, and approved.

Basic rule (very important 🚨)

Only upload the document that is requested in the respective section.
If you upload incorrect or additional documents, they will be automatically rejected.

Where do you upload your documents?

  • Open the Uber Driver app and go to “Documents”.

  • Upload all required documents.

  • Wait until the documents have been reviewed and approved.

  • The review process may take several days.

Important information when submitting documents:

  • Photocopies or scans are not accepted – only photos of original documents.

  • Make sure all four corners of each document are visible.

  • Blurry photos, reflections, shadows, or objects covering parts of the document will lead to rejection.

Tip: Take photos in daylight on a dark, plain surface.

Handling rejected or expired documents

Sometimes documents are rejected or marked as expired. Common reasons include:

  • Uber’s requirements were not met

  • Wrong document uploaded in the wrong section

  • Illegible or incomplete photo

  • Document is expired or about to expire

  • Vehicle or driver’s license does not meet Uber requirements

Common mistakes to avoid:

  • Blurry, dark, or cropped photos

  • Uploading photocopies instead of originals

  • Missing or unreadable information

  • Expired documents

Solution: Fix the issue → take a new photo → upload again
